Grilled Salmon

The first time I had salmon was when I became pregnant with my daughter and that too in the peak of morning sickness! Since then, I have never ever touched it! Then one fine day morning when I was shopping for groceries and fish, I saw fresh Salmon fillet; then I thought why not give a try? At least my kids and hubby can eat it.

And then I bought a small Salmon Fillet and decided to grill it since I am in love with my Electric Oven and have to use it everyday! LOL!

So my simple recipe for the Grilled Salmon is marinate it with black pepper, salt and lime juice. You may add the ingredients less or more according to your taste. Refrigerate it for 1 hour and grill.

Now I am addicted to it and it is a must have twice in a week in our home now! Below is nutritional facts of Salmon.

choc chip cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are my kids favorite. They can eat up to 4-5 cookies in one shot.. LOL!  I make them often but before i can take a pic of these they will be finished! My daughter doesn’t even wait for them to cool down she loves them when its warm and the choco chip are meting! (Girls!)

So today a cozy saturday morning everyone are asleep i woke up early and decided to make some of these to surprise them. I could luciky make a batch before all of them woke up and finally take a pic of it!

This recipe is again form my favorite All Recipes And here is the recipe for the Chocolate chip cookies

The changes i made are – I added only 1 cup chocolate chips instead of 2. And i did not melt the chip. I added them straight away. This is a fool proof recipe. I really enjoyed making those.

Garam Masala – Spice Mix (Biriyani Masala Mix)

8 Comments 7 Jul 2009 In: Uncategorized

garam masala

Garam Masala is a must in almost all the dishes for me  - be it veg or non veg, snacks or any thing spicy. I love the smell and the flavour of it. For biriyanis it just has to be there.

1/2 a handful 0f Cardomon,cloves, fennel seed

1/4 a handful of black pepercons

2 cinnamon stickes,

2 nutmeg,

1-2  star mace

2 bay leaves

Roast and grind the spices and store it in a airtight container in the freezer. Yes the freezer! Dont worry it will still be in a powder form and i think strong flavour will still be there.
